Sope Williams-Elegbe is an anti-corruption and public procurement scholar and consultant with 20 years of experience. She is an expert witness and legal opinions for African public procurement and development bank (MDB) procurement matters. She is a Blockchain enthusiast and expert, a keynote and conference speaker in public procurement, anti-corruption and blockchain.

She is a scholar and researcher with over 50 publications, including three books.

Sope has taught law at the University of Nottingham and the University of Stirling and has been a visiting scholar at the universities of Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Lagos. She also worked in policy formulation and advocacy on ethics, good governance and economics as the head of research at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group in Lagos.

She is a former Member of the World Bank's International Advisory Group on Procurement (formerly International Technical Advisory Group), an editor of the Journal of African Law and African Procurement Law Journal, a Deputy Director, African Procurement Law Unit, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and a member, Beni American University Research & Development Advisory Council.

Her specialties include anti-corruption, public procurement law, practice and policy, exclusion and debarment measures, open governance, development bank procurement, transparency and blockchain.
