Philip James leads Sheridans' Technology and Data Privacy, Security & Information Rights groups. In doing so, he guides clients through the issues arising from the creation, licensing and exploitation of rights in content, data and software on mobile, cloud and new media platforms.
He works with his Employment, Film & TV, Music, Sports, and Computer Games groups to promote their services in the media & entertainment, marcomms, mobile, retail, luxury, and technology sectors.
Philip specializes in data privacy and information law, especially in relation to data strategy, regulatory compliance and risk management, cyber risk, big data, AI, automation, behavioral targeting, loyalty, and social location services. Philip has also been on a variety of secondments to media and technology companies.
