Manik Narayan Saha
Manik Narayan Saha is the CIO in the Asia Pacific and Japan, for SAP. Based in Singapore, Manik leads a multinational and multicultural IT team across the Asia-Pacific region. He is overall responsible for customer, business and employee engagement and oversees IT internal service delivery across the APJ region. More recently, he's deeply involved in the APJ Data Center and Cloud Delivery Strategy for APJ.
Externally, Manik provides insight into Global IT’s strategy and drives the adoption of SAP's innovative solutions across various LoB’s within SAP. With over 15 years of experience and expertise in IT strategy, business transformation, enterprise architecture and innovation, he provides thought leadership on wide range of topics ranging from IT Governance Models, Consumerization of IT, Process Excellence and IT Service Innovation, and more recently the transition from a "mobile-enabled business" to the "Internet of Things".
Previously, Manik was the Global Head of the IT Process Office at SAP. Assuming the role in November 2010, he was responsible to execute global strategic transformation initiatives at SAP Global IT and has been actively working to increase operational efficiency using processes as a key lever. As a firm believer in Design Thinking and Lean principles, his transformation efforts revolve around people, tools, and process excellence to deliver higher value to the different lines of business within SAP.
Prior to joining SAP in 2005, Manik was with PSA Corporation (Singapore) and worked for the shipping and logistics industry. Manik has a degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and a Masters in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University.
