Head of Program Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI)


Lucy Hakobyan is a distributed ledger technology strategist, subject matter expert in topics of blockchain enterprise adoption, and enterprise innovation professional. Currently, she is the Head of Program at MOBI, a consortium of companies, institutions, government agencies and public organizations exploring blockchain and distributed ledger technology to improve mobility, transit, and, logistics. She has lead the first blockchain standard for Vehicle Identification with MOBI, Ford, Renault, BMW & others.

She also works closely with organizations like the World Economic Forum and the United Nations on promoting blockchain technology for enterprises. She has contributed to a number of World Economic Forum whitepapers and is part of the Blockchain for Supply Chain Toolkit Design Committee.

Lucy has served as an EIR for technology startups, was an operator in a blockchain startup and worked in venture capital in San Francisco. She has a consulting background from PwC and holds an MBA degree from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in business economics and international relations from UCLA. Named one of 100 most inspiring MBAs in the world.
