Dr. Kristie McNealy is a Senior Staff Associate at Econometrica. In her main role, she is the Project Director of a Measure and Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) contract for the Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) which has resulted in the development of three National Quality Forum (NQF) endorsed measures to date. Under this contract, Dr. McNealy leads a team of internal staff, sub-contractors and consultants responsible for developing and implementing measures of the quality of care provided to elders enrolled in PACE. She also is responsible for monitoring activities for CMS’ Million Hearts Clinical Implementation, including developing standard operating procedures, analysis requests and monitoring reports.

Past projects include serving as an Evaluation Site Lead on the evaluation of the CCTP, a CMS program supporting more than 100 community-based organizations as they conduct activities to reduce avoidable readmissions in partner hospitals. As a member of the qualitative analysis team, her primary duties included conducting semi-structured telephone interviews and site visits with CCTP sites, coding and content analysis of qualitative data using NVivo, and preparation of required reports and briefing materials for CMS related to these activities.

Dr. McNealy has also provided clinical expertise to the team responsible for the National Content Developer contract as it relates to the Leading Edge Advanced Practice Topics cohort of the Partnership for Patients (PfP). Her role in this project included assisting with the design of program materials and the identification of best practices and action steps for participating hospitals as they work toward reducing procedural harm at their facilities. She also assisted with webinar development as the Lead of the Readmissions Interest Group.

She is also the Executive Director & Standards Committee Chair at Simon Institute, co-founder at TUSC network, and Senior Researcher at Sundance Research Institute.
