Julian Migura has been a frequent speaker at international conferences in the gaming, payment, and blockchain sphere, including GDC, Gamescom, Games Convention, Blockchain Expo, Consensus, Money20/20 and has been invited to lecture at several universities, including the University of São Paulo and HAW Hamburg.
Julian professionalized his passion for games in 2006 when he started his gaming career as a Project Manager for MMOfacts (Galaxy-News). After two successful years, Julian decided to join the Bulgarian start-up XS Software.
At XS, he did not only lead the international expansion across Western Europe and Latin America but also helped to achieve a monthly average turnover growth of over 30%. Furthermore, he created and marketed the brand madmoo and madmoo.com portal, which attracted over 4 million players up until April 2010.
In May 2010, Julian founded his consulting agency Jayanda, which later on emerged into OnLegends, the first global licensing broker for games. Julian left the operational side of OnLegends to fully engage within Brazil’s UOL group as the Director of International Business Development and became a partner of the gaming units in early 2012.
Julian helped to close and develop hundreds of partnerships with major gaming companies from around the globe, including Valve, EA, Ubisoft, Riot Games, Smilegate, Perfect World, LevelUp, Webzen, Netease.
He has strong connections within the global gaming and online industry with a focus on Latin America as a future and current growth market.
