Jason Hsu

Founding Chairman FutureX

In 2008 Jason Hsu co-founded The Big Questions Conference to bring together leaders from all fields to engage in conversations and actions for a sustainable future. In 2009 he co-founded TEDxTaipei. Since 2011 he has been serving as TEDx Ambassador for Asia. Over the course last years he has organized conferences and gatherings that promote cross-border dialogues and innovation. More than 35 cities and 400 leaders and innovators participated in these meetings.

Jason's entrepreneurial journey brought him around the world and his education is mostly from real-world experience. Having started up companies, he is fully aware of what it takes to build business and mentality to celebrate “fail early, fail often.” In 2013 he received a scholarship to study at Amsterdam's School of Creative Leadership which broadens my scope of innovation in public administration. In 2015 Jason was chosen to attend the Executive Program at Singularity University.

In July 2014 he became a member of the Advisory Committee for Premier, Executive Yuan offering policy suggestions and attending government meetings. Such has changed the course of his life. He became more involved with public affairs and played an influential role as a leader of the young generation. In January 2016 he was elected as Legislator at-large for Parliament. With this role, my primary focuses are education, technology, and environmental sustainability. He forms cross-party alliances to advance issues that concern the future of the country.
