Eric S. Byunn has spent the bulk of his career in growth equity investing, technology product management, and management consulting. Prior to co-founding Centana Growth Partners, he spent 13 years at FTV Capital where he was a partner, served on the management committee, and led investments in enterprise technology related to the financial services industry. Before joining FTV Capital, Eric was Director of Online Services at myCFO, a start-up wealth management firm.

He joined myCFO from America Online, where he held several roles including management of Netscape's Personal Finance Channel. Prior to the acquisition of Netscape by AOL, Eric led product management for the Netscape Navigator browser. He has also worked at Microsoft and at McKinsey & Company, where he primarily worked with telecommunications clients.

Eric currently serves on the Boards of Blueprint Systems, Catalyst Repository Systems, and Cloudmark and previously led investments in companies including Centro, Coremetrics (acquired by IBM), Covario (acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network), GMI (acquired by WPP), KVS (acquired by Veritas), MarketShare Partners (acquired by Neustar), PSS Systems (acquired by IBM), Sourcecode/K2, and Varicent (acquired by IBM).

Eric received an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and received an AB summa cum laude from Harvard University, where he focused on economics and computer science and received the Williams Prize, awarded to the top economics concentrator in the graduating class.
