Anju Patwardhan is the Managing Director at CreditEase Fintech VC Fund (of USD 1 billion) and Fund of Funds , based in Silicon Valley. The fund has invested in over 50 fintech companies globally since 2016.

She is an experienced Board Director on boards of banks, fintech companies, and non-profits. Anju has over 25 years of banking experience with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and Citibank in global leadership roles in digital banking, risk management, operations, digital banking, and audit. She was a member of SCB's global executive leadership team, a member of its Global Technology & Operations Management Group, and a member of the Global Risk Management Group. Anju is also a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Fintech Steering Committee on Disruptive Innovation and a member of the Global Future Council on Blockchain; FinTech Faculty at Singularity University.

She was 2016 Fulbright Fellow and Visiting Scholar from ASEAN at Stanford University (worked on Fintech and Financial Inclusion); Fellow at Stanford's Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) in 2017 and 2018; Distinguished Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance (Risk Management) in 2013; Innovation Fellow at National University of Singapore, and Fintech Industry expert at UC Berkeley (SCET); Was on the advisory board of Government of Estonia’s e-Residency program.

Anju is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore; Further professional qualifications in risk management, board directorship, and art appreciation. She is globally recognized and awarded FinTech thought leader, influencer, and speaker (been a speaker at the United Nations, G20 SME Forum, Asian Development Bank, WEF, Milken Conference, regulatory symposiums and podcasts in the USA, on televised panel discussions on national TV in China and Singapore etc).

Her interests include visual arts, yoga, pets, reading (audiobooks) and travel.
