Angela Ruggiero is a leading figure in the sports world, having served as an administrator, elite athlete, educator, advisor, and board member in the world of sport.

She is the CEO and Co-Founder of the Sports Innovation Lab, a technology and data powered market research firm focused on the intersection of sports and technology- with a focus on identifying trends and evaluating technology products and services that will drive the future of the sport. The Sports Innovation Lab is the first objective, the third party to help demystify the world of sports technology. As CEO, she was honored as an SBJ 40 under 40 recipient in 2018, as well as Forbes’ Top 25 influential women in sport.

Angela, a Member of the 2015 Hockey Hall of Fame (the 4th woman), is a 4-time Olympian in ice hockey, winning a Gold Medal in 1998, Silver Medal in 2002 + 2010, and a Bronze Medal in 2006. In her career, she was named as the Best Player in the World by the Hockey News.

Angela has served the Olympic Movement on the administrative and board levels for almost a decade. She was a member of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee and the Chairperson for the IOC Athletes' Commission, the body representing all Olympic Athletes Worldwide. She currently serves on the IOC's Digital and Technology Commission and the Ethics Commission. She was previously on the Board of the United States Olympic Committee, former President of the Women's Sports Foundation, and Chief Strategy Officer for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Bid Committee.

Angela is a graduate of the Harvard Business School (MBA), Harvard College (BA), and the University of Minnesota (M.Ed.).
